Euphorbia hirta (sometimes called asthma-plant) is a pantropical weed, possibly native to India. It is a hairy herb that grows in open grasslands, roadsides and pathways. It is widely used as a medicinal herb.
Asthma plants have been used to treat hormone imbalances in women, respiratory conditions including asthma, bronchitis, and couthing, and coyza. It is also used to treat worm infestations. dysentery, jaundice, pimples, gonorrhea, digestive complications, and tumors.
