Flower: White rounded cluster
Leaves: Double compound leaves, over a foot long in lower part of plant, much smaller at top, 3 or more leaflets, leaflets up to 4 inches long and 1¼ inches across, pointed tips and sharp teeth, often fold up some from central vein, distinguishing feature of leaves; veins radiating from central vein tend to terminate in notch of teeth instead of tip
Height: 3-6 feet
Flowering: June - August
Habitat: along shores, wet fields, moist thickets, wet ditches, fens, swamps
Other: Highly poisonous
