Flower: White rounded cluster
Leaves: Opposite leaves join around stem appearing as if the stem grows through one large leaf, wrinkly, 4 to 8 inches long, up to 2 inches wide, tapering to a point at tip, small rounded teeth along edges, surfaces hairy and underside is gland-dotted
Fruit/Seed: dry, black seed with a small tuft of hair
Height: 2-4 feet
Flowering: July - October
Habitat: moist fields, along shores
