Description ²

• Flower: Orange daisy-like
• Leaves: 2-5 inches long and 1 inch wide, pointed or rounded at the tip, toothless, covered in long hairs
• Fruit/Seed: dark seed with a tuft of white hair
• Height: 6-24 inches
• Flowering: June - October
• Habitat: dry fields, along roads, disturbed soil
• Other: Invasive noxious weed
