• Flower: White elongated cluster
• Leaves: alternately arranged, 3-8 inches long, heart-shaped at base, 7-12 primary veins radiating from base, 3-7 shallow lobes, lower surface paler and finely hairy
• Fruit/Seed: berry-like, 1/3 inch diameter, ripening to blue-black
• Height: 6-30 foot vine

• Habitat: moist woods, woodland edges, clearings, thickets
