Flower: White rounded cluster
Leaves: alternately arranged, widely spaced, lance-like or lance-oblong, 1 to 4 inches long to 1 inch wide, slightly rounded tapered tip, deeply lobed at base, lower leaves have stalks up to 1½ inches long, upper leaves nearly stalkless, basal lobes often wrapping around stem
Height: 18-24 inches
Habitat: marshes, wet meadows, fens, stream banks
