Description ⁸

CAP 2 1/2 to 8 inches broad, pale apricot color or salmon pink at the center, paler pink at the margin; flesh thick, staining yellow then orange where bruised. ODOR faintly fragrant. GILLS adnate, pale pinkish or pinkish cream. STEM 4-8 inches long, 1/2 to 2 inches thick, white or flushed with pink. MICROSTRUCTURES spores 7-9.5 x 4.5-5.5 microns; DV.
