BRIEF SUMMARY

• Mildly Venomous
• Looks just like the Sri-Lankan Cat Snake, Boiga Nuchalis & Thackerayi's Cat Snake.
• Slender snakes with yellowish brown dorsal and black crossbars.
• Large eyes with vertical pupils and has a black streak running across eyes.
• Found in the hills of Western Ghats.

Similar Cat Snakes ³

The 2 Boiga mentioned below are almost identical to the Beddome's Cat Snake and would need scale counts to tell. Both snakes are endemic to the WG.

• Collared Cat Snake (Boiga nuchalis)
• Thackeray's Cat Snake (Boiga thackerayi)
