Accipiter cooperii

Cooper's hawk

2

Nom français: Épervier de Cooper

This bird eats almost exclusively other little song birds. In doing so, they teach the birds to be really aware and to listen for alarm calls of other birds.

The flight pattern of their wings is ''flap flap flap gliiiiiiiiiiiiiide'' ''flap flap flap gliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide'.

They are very sneaky and hide in the shadows whenever they can.

They have amazing red or yellow eyes.

The females are larger than the males and specialize in larger prey.

The oldest known cooper's hawk was 20 years old.
