Nom français: Chardonneret jaune
In the winter, their gold colors are more drab. They change all their feathers twice a year, once in the spring and another time in the fall.
Their song is kind of like saying ''potato chip, potato chip''.
They lay eggs later then other birds because they wait for the fluffy seeds of milkweed, thistle and other plants with downy seeds. Their nest is so well done that it could even hold water.
