This bird is originally from Europe and is now VERY common in North America.

They sometimes kick other birds out of their nests to take it over.

They like to take baths in sandy dirt and will guard their bath from other birds.

They often live in colonies of many families.
The males have a dark 'beard'.

Their sounds are all variations of a ''chirp!''.
