Delicate Meadow Katydid

Orchelimum delicatum

Identification 2

This species is rarely reported, apparently because it is uncommon, but also very similar to the much more common Conocephalus fasciatus. It is small for Orchelimum at 16 mm or less in body length (not including wings, total length close to 25 mm/1 inch), which is usually Conocephalus size. The face is dull green. Pictures of the cerci can helpful, as could song recordings.
