Yellow-rumped Warbler

Setophaga coronata

Notes 5

Overwinter here and go breed elsewhere, so we usually don't get to see their brightest colors like in the first photo, but there's always some yellow on them. Usually overall brown-grey with a white belly, and some yellow on the rump, throat, and around the "elbows" of the wings. Common everywhere in yards, towns, parks, wild land, and just everywhere during the winter.
