Description ¹

Smaller than Talpa europaea . Head and body length 95-140 mm, tail length 20-43 mm, length of the back foot 15-18 mm, weight 29-120 grams. Eyes covered with membrane. The fur is black. The pie is longer and narrower than other sympatric species.
