I am a natural resource specialist at Fermilab (Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, Batavia, IL) and assistant director of UIC's James Woodworth Prairie (Glenview, IL). In my free time I am a steward at Bunker Hill Forest Preserve in Chicago, and a volunteer plant monitor for the Chicago Botanic Garden's Plants of Concern program. My strongest area is Chicago region botany, and am working on improving my birding & insect ID skills. I like to camp and hike in US national parks, and travel abroad. I don't trust a lot of the IDs I make outside the Midwest, so I welcome corrections and suggestions!
