Pakistan's biodiversity is vast and we are losing our animals very rapidly through extreme pollution, illegal trophy hunting and a general lack of consideration for animal species among other things.

While there are people around who are doing beautiful work in the fields of environmental and wildlife conservation - comparatively very little about Pakistan's animal kingdom is being studied - there aren't too many recent scientific papers and there are very few books pertaining to the specific wildlife of this country.
