Vipers of Turkey

Fauna of Turkey is particularly reach in vipers species of genus Montivipera and Vipera. Most of the species are lacking precise distribution data and are threatened according to IUCN. In the same time, many people visit Turkey and making picture of snakes they encounter. This project aim is make connection between amateur observers and zoologists and conservationists.
