I feel like Mycena is not a very understood genus for most people. There’s so many different species, most too small to bother with, so people just put it at genus (like I’m doing). I should maybe make it a priority to try and get some microscopy out of my future mycena finds, hopefully learning a way to ID them to species. They’re just so small though. A real P.I.T.A. genus, maybe?
