naaupo's Identifications

This observation was made on February 19, 2020 at 4:28 P.M. Ferns are an example of a seedless vascular plant. I know that the plant in the pictures is a seedless vascular plant because it does not have flowers or seeds but rather spores. I observed that some of the ferns had spori on the underside of their leaves. According to Biology LibreTexts, seedless vascular plants do not have flowers and seeds to reproduce, they use spores. The ferns I found close to USF Sycamore Fields varied in size, normally from 6 to 12 inches. The climate of their habitat is warm, damp,humid ,and is often categorized as tropical. On February 19, 2020, it was 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
