Tucson local lizard lover with a few strange specialties in certain insects. I'm mainly focused on whiptail lizards, lepidoptera, and a handful of beetles and leaf/seed bugs. Feel free to ping me for help with IDs or to reach out with questions. I'm still learning, but I'm gathering resources as I go.

I will take pictures of just about everything to get a full picture of the local wildlife. My goal is to improve the iNat dataset as much as possible by adding annotations to most observations I see, as well as narrowing down observations to subspecies level when possible. Ideally I can help get some less-often-IDed species into the AI vision system, like the moth metalectra cinctus which has been spotted a few times around here.

Most photos are taken with a Canon rebel T7i, though some may be taken with my Galaxy S21 phone camera.
