BSc Conservation Ecology graduate from the University of Stellenbosch. I grew up on the slopes of Table Mountain and as a result, have always been fascinated by the unique flora of our region. I'm currently working as an intern for Bergwind Botanical Surveys and Tours, and will set off to the United States in June to start my masters' degree in Plant Biology at the University of Georgia.

My personal research interest is below ground plant and fungal interactions, and how these interactions ultimately shape plant communities.
