Atylotus fuscipes Ricardo 1908 - Identification

Taxonomy:
This species recently has been removed from synonymy with A. albipalpus and given full species status by Williams, K. & Snyman, L.P. 2023. In support of morphology: molecular analysis successfully delineates the Afrotropical genus Atylotus (Diptera: Tabanidae) into species. Acta Tropica 237.

The abdomen has two broad orange sublateral longitudinal stripes that end on the fifth tergite and a median black stripe without yellow hairs.
