Hoverflies and bees in early spring
It was an exceptional winter: well into December it had stayed warmer than in any previous year. The hazel bushes had never bloomed so early. Then a short, cold but snow-free phase. Ten days ago, spring has started very early: it's warm and very sunny, the insects are flying again, and the birds seem to be ready to start their next breeding season. - Is there anyone who might be able to help with the identification of these hoverflies and bees? Thanks a lot!
